Home Cleanout Dumpster Rental

Clear stored household junk without turning every room into a staging area. Our small dumpsters give you a place for unwanted furniture, boxes and general household waste while you work through the house. Include the attic, basement and spare rooms in one estimate so you have room for the entire discard pile.

Count the rooms, then count the discard pile

Walk through every space before choosing a size. A basement with bulky furniture can need more volume than several rooms of bagged clutter. Count only the material you intend to discard, not everything currently in storage.

The existing size comparisons use roughly four, six and eight pickup truck loads for the 10, 15 and 20 yard sizes. Treat those as planning estimates, not a guarantee that any particular house will fit.

  • Mark items to keep or donate before loading begins.
  • Include attic, basement and spare-room piles in the same estimate.
  • Leave time for carrying material from stairs or distant rooms.

Work outward from the hardest-to-reach space

Clearing the attic or basement early can keep bags and furniture from blocking the rest of the house. Choose a carrying route and keep the doorway to the dumpster clear. Flatten empty boxes and load flat items before filling the gaps with smaller household waste.

If your cleanout expands to more rooms, reassess the amount before delivery is confirmed. More container volume does not remove the included weight limit, and you should keep the load at or below the top edge.

Make the rental window match the work

Standard rentals are up to seven days. Choose dates that give you time to sort, carry and check the house one last time. If you are clearing a whole property before a sale or handling an estate, use our estate and property cleanout page for planning around handover dates.

Tell us about tight driveways, shared access and your preferred placement in the request notes. All three standard sizes have a 12 ft x 8 ft footprint, but the truck also needs access and room to set the container down.

What can go in?

Household junk, furniture and general household waste are generally accepted. Old paints, insecticides and other hazardous materials found in storage must stay out. Ask about an unfamiliar item before loading it.

Keep everything at or below the top edge. A larger container does not change material restrictions or provide unlimited weight.

Review the full material policy and call before loading anything uncertain.

Keep these out

  • Hazardous materials
  • Paints
  • Insecticides
  • Flammable liquids
  • Asbestos
  • Tires
  • Dirt / soil
  • Concrete
  • Bricks

Check with your municipality about disposal options for prohibited items. Specific local rules and unconfirmed item fees are not assumed.
