What Can't You Put in a Dumpster?

Hazardous materials, paints, tires, concrete, bricks, dirt and more are not accepted. The full list, plus why it matters.

Not accepted

Please keep these out of the dumpster:

  • Hazardous materials
  • Paints
  • Insecticides
  • Flammable liquids
  • Asbestos
  • Tires
  • Dirt / soil
  • Concrete
  • Bricks

Why the rules exist

Some of these items are unsafe to haul or cannot be accepted at disposal facilities. Heavy materials like concrete, bricks and soil also overload a dumpster quickly.

What to do with them

Many towns run household hazardous waste days or have a transfer station with specific rules. Check with your town for options. And if you are unsure about an item, call us before it goes in.

Have a question this did not answer? Call (339) 201-1515, 5 AM – 9 PM, 7 days a week. Ready to go? Book a dumpster online.
