Home Renovation Dumpster Rental

Removing kitchen cabinets, bathroom fixtures or old flooring creates both bulky pieces and heavier debris. Estimate what will come out of every room during the rental window, then compare container space and included weight separately. Tell us about tile, plaster or unfamiliar materials before you book.

Match capacity to the rooms being renovated

A smaller bathroom remodel can start with the 10 yard, a kitchen or flooring project with the 15 yard, and a multi-room renovation with the 20 yard. These are starting points, not promises that every version of those jobs fits.

List the cabinets, flooring, wood and other remodeling debris you plan to remove. Include material from all rooms being worked on during the same rental window. If the scope changes, discuss it before confirming the dumpster.

Volume and weight are different limits

Bulky cabinets can use a lot of space, while dense debris can reach the weight allowance before the container looks full. Standard included weights are 1 ton, 1.5 tons and 2 tons for the 10, 15 and 20 yard respectively. Additional weight is subject to charges; call for the applicable details rather than assuming a rate.

Describe heavy or unfamiliar materials before booking. Concrete, bricks and dirt or soil are prohibited even in a small remodeling load. Suspected asbestos must not go in, and a larger dumpster does not make prohibited material acceptable.

  • Inventory each room's debris before selecting a size.
  • Confirm heavy or unknown materials by phone.
  • Keep the load level with or below the top edge.

Coordinate access with the renovation schedule

Place the dumpster near the carrying route without blocking the truck approach. Tell us about tight access, overhead obstacles and the preferred spot in your notes. If driveway placement will not work, check with the municipality about street placement before making plans.

Choose the rental dates around the removal work and call to confirm availability before scheduling contractors around delivery. If work runs late, arrange an extension before pickup. This page does not establish dedicated roofing, demolition or commercial service offerings.

Size, price and weight

Choose a starting size

What can go in?

Wood, flooring and construction or remodeling debris are generally accepted. Existing guidance includes cabinets and drywall. Keep out paints, asbestos, hazardous materials, concrete, bricks and soil; call about dense or uncertain materials before booking.

Keep everything at or below the top edge. A larger container does not change material restrictions or provide unlimited weight.

Review the full material policy and call before loading anything uncertain.

Keep these out

  • Hazardous materials
  • Paints
  • Insecticides
  • Flammable liquids
  • Asbestos
  • Tires
  • Dirt / soil
  • Concrete
  • Bricks

Check with your municipality about disposal options for prohibited items. Specific local rules and unconfirmed item fees are not assumed.
